Every product, supplier, and partner involved in the Pin Grounds Coffee experience was chosen and/or crafted with a sustainability and fair practice focus.

On top of that, for every product purchased we plant a tree as well as remove a plastic bottle from the ocean. You can learn more about this at our partner’s website.

Our Coffee

We source green coffee from farms and importers that commit to fair wages, sustainable practices, equal ownership, and/or organic farming methods.

Our commercial coffee roaster is fully electric emitting less than 25% the CO2e that a gas roaster does. We plan to be fully solar roasting soon as well.

The coffee bags we use are printed in Hawaii and can be recycled right here in our store! They are then turned into construction blocks or drainage systems. Check those links because it’s really cool stuff. You can even bring in coffee bags from any other company and pop them in our R+R box.

The cups we provide for drinks off our coffee cart are, at a minimum, commercially compostable. No plastic is used. On top of that, our oat milk and chai are ridiculously delicious and come from Certified B Corps.

Our Merchandise

All of our clothing and bags are silk screened in Buffalo Grove, IL and the materials used are either recycled or sourced from vendors with sustainable practices.

Printed products are sourced from Certified B Corp vendors and/or use renewable energy sources. Wherever possible, we work with local artisans that share similar values.
